Mass times at a glance

Mass is celebrated every day. On weekdays there are three, at 08:00, 12:00 and 18:00. On Saturday the times are 08:30, 12:00 and the vigil Mass at 18:00. On Sunday there are four: 08:30, a Gregorian Mass at 10:00, 11:30 and a diocesan Mass at 18:00.

This site is an independent guide. It is not run by the cathedral or the archdiocese and cannot confirm a service for you. The times below are the regular weekly schedule as published in 2026. Beyond Mass: other regular prayer

Prayer services follow a weekly rhythm too.

Vespers

Weekday vespers are at 17:30. On Saturday the first vespers of Sunday are at 17:15, and Sunday vespers are also at 17:15.

Rosary

The rosary is prayed at 15:00 on weekdays and on Saturday.

Lauds on Sunday

Morning prayer is at 09:30 on Sunday, between the first Mass and the Gregorian Mass.

Thursday evening

Eucharistic adoration is at 18:45 on Thursday. The cathedral is also open until 22:00 that day.

If you want to look around rather than pray, choose a time without a service, or use the tours guide for guided options. A paid guided visit is never required to enter the cathedral.

How access to a service works

What is published, and what to check.

Without a reservation

The cathedral's service page describes access to Mass without a reservation. A separate queue is described as opening 20 minutes before the service, facing the Portal of the Last Judgement.

Special celebrations

The booking portal also links a Mass reservation. That may apply to particular celebrations. Look at the current notice for your date before you go, especially around major feast days.

Not a shortcut

Seats at a service are for people taking part. Going to Mass is not a way to skip the visitor queue, and nothing about it is guaranteed. Visiting the cathedral is free. The voluntary online reservation is a separate matter, covered in the tickets guide.

Visiting during a service

The cathedral has a visitor route for times when a service is on. That does not mean it closes completely at every Mass. Some areas may be restricted on the day, so read the current notice.

How to behave as a visitor

The basics, whether you attend Mass or only walk through.

Quiet and phones

Keep your voice low and put your phone on silent. People around you are praying.

Clothing

Dress respectfully. Men take off hats, and shoulders should be covered.

Security check

Everyone passes a security check. Suitcases are not allowed, and backpacks should be kept small. Knives, scissors, sharp objects, alcohol, drugs and aerosols are banned.

Inside

Eating, drinking and smoking are not allowed. Animals are not allowed either, except assistance animals.

Photos

Do not count on being allowed to photograph or film during a service. Current rules on photography during Mass can change, so follow the signs and the staff.
